The Technical Coach (TC) is a role that is focussed on our development age group (U9 - U12), with a specific focus on technical skills development. The TC will collaborate very closely with our Club Head coach (CHC) and be responsible for implementing weekly session plans, which are delivered in a supported environment that is player-centric and skill focussed.

The technical sessions are designed for all youth players in both house league and the development program.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

The TC should have some soccer experience both playing and coaching and although not required ideally have completed the minimum certification requirements to coach at the developmental level.

TIME:

Development sessions are run on Saturday mornings 09:00-11:00, from late May to end of June (4-5 weeks) with the possibility of a third hour added should the participant numbers be large after week#1.

SCOPE:

The TC with support from the CHC with the involvement of other coaches, will deliver session plans to our players from our development program and players from our House program. These group sessions ensure that all U9 - U12 players get access to our best coaching, that coaches can learn in a collaborative environment from each other and that we have a stream of consistent messaging and training for our U9 - U12 age group, which is the crucial age for proper skill development.
