U6 Boys and Girls Timbits™ Soccer

Important Notes:

• Parent or Guardian MUST be present and participate on the field with their child and MUST bring their soccer ball (provided) to each session
• Players cannot wear hats or jewelry during the game, including earrings of any kind

Planning for separate boys and girls teams. However, depending on the number of registered players with this age group, KDSC may elect to run mixed teams. If this is the case, game nights may change.

Start time: 6:30 pm (Practice) with a 10-minute snack break before the game. (schedule to follow)

Game time: 7:10-7:45 pm

Game Length: 2 x 15 minutes with a 5-minute half time break

Target team size: 10 players

Players on the field: 4 v 4 (no goalies)

Rules: OSA Active Start-Informal Play

Playing locations: South Gower Park-Micro Fields

Uniform provided: Tim Hortons will supply a shirt, shorts, pair of socks and a soccer ball

Parents to provide: Soccer cleats and shin pads

Coaches: Volunteer Game Leader. Groups will have all of their activities on the same field

Referees: One Game Leader per team to aid informal play
